Well the Oyster Season is coming to an End around Sargent Texas. The season ends in April for Texas. It has been a good year for Oysters as they continue their recovery from the drought that so affected them for the last 5 years out of 8 years. Of course the State of Texas monitors Reefs for their protection and Opens and closes them during season. Call their office to find out current areas open for Harvest.
